8x12 inch photo of a Spitfire signed by Margaret Frost who flew with No15 Ferry Pool out of Hamble, near Southampton during whiuch time she learned to fly anything from Harvards to Hurricanes and, of course, the fabled Spitfire of Battle of Britain fame.
By ferrying planes from factories to RAF stations across Britain, she and her fellow men and women pilots played a vital role in propping up the war effort. Between them, over 300,000 planes were delivered during the war saving front-line fighter and bomber pilots from losing time keeping their squadrons of planes up to strength.
Signed at an exclusive signing at her home in February 2012.
